Commercial industry is often the most frequent Eco-Panels customer for one reason - value. Traditionally a buyer's decision on how to build a house is not a well thought out endeavor - rather it is an emotional decision. "My brother-in-law recommended this builder and he only builds this way." Commercial industry on the other hand looks at it from a time-value of money perspective. They know that the product will cost more up front but they will typically save on labor and most assuredly save on energy bills. We did a 15,000 sqft retail furniture store and they know they are saving $800/mo in energy bills when compared to other stores they own. In a very short period of time they have already paid for the up-front material cost premium associated with our panels.
At the right are photos of a large 10-Plex movie theater - one in a series of three. Construction was in-fill panels on a steel frame with exterior siding of panels using Densglass Gold(R). While the client had a scheduled dry-in time of 45 days (they did these all the time) - by the third theater we had reduced their dry-in time to 9 days! Also we are the only panel manufacturer that we are aware of that is certified to divide theater walls in George Lucas's THX(R) brand of theaters.
Also pictured are our panels used in a city in-fill rehab project in Pennsylvania. The contractor selected our R40 roof panels with AC plywood on the interior and fire-rated plywood on the exterior.
